The image editor makes it possible to crop images based on different ratios. In addition, the file size is automatically reduced, which will benefit your site's speed! All original files are kept in the media library.
In order to make use of the new functionality, no paddlet needs to be installed. Go to the media library and add an image.
Click on a certain ratio and the image can be edited
Save it and you see that the chosen ratio is '(cropped)'. The corresponding thumbnail is also displayed. The cropped variant will be retrieved when you select the corresponding ratio in the WYSIWYG.
In the WYSIWYG, you can then choose a certain ratio through 'Image Properties'. To do this, add the image and right click on the image. In WYSIWYG, it is no longer possible to define a manual ratio, which always happens through the media library.
